Internship Work at JPaulJones

I had the opportunity to internship at JPaulJones, a product company. Not only did I work on several projects, but the collaboration of ideas, the brainstorming and working with other people’s opnions and ideas, gave me the exposure and insight into a fast paced company and how to meet the needs of the owner. The company also actively put me on major projects such as logo and icon designs. Below are a few examples of some of the projects I completed.

Sweeva Logo

I designed the Sweeva logo for the company. Sweeva is a vacuum cleaner/broom. The Sweeva logo was based on the same type of colors and feel you get from a typical cleaning product but in the style of 1960’s logos and signage. It is reminiscent of diner signs.

EyeVac Air and EyeVac Plus Logo

I designed the EyeVac Air and EyeVac Plus products using the company’s original EyeVac logo as a base to keep in line with the main product. The EyeVac products are a vacuum line of products. The vacuum is a dust pan vacuum; it has a sensor near the bottom to detect when you are sweeping near the product and the vacuum suction begins automatically.

The EyeVac Air is an air filtration device combined with the regular EyeVac. The logo represents the products air filtration features with colors similar to the regular EyeVac logo.

The EyeVac Plus is a trash can with a sensor lid combined with the EyeVac device. I was tasked to showcases all the products main features as well as the “plus” in the center to represent the name.

NoMo Webpage Redesign

I created mockups for the NoMo website redesign. This included creating several full page layouts, top page layouts, and an assorted number of header replacements. JPaulJones used one of the headers that I created.
